For 100 years, Scouting programs have instilled in youth the values found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Today, these values are just as relevant in helping youth grow to their full potential as they were in 1910. Scouting helps youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives.

Welcome! My name is
I was involved in Scouting as a young boy and have many fond memories of my experiences as a Boy Scout. I attended the 1969 National Jamboree and also Northern Tier in 1970.One special memory is of my trek to Philmont Scout Ranch in 1966, Boy Scout’s premier high-adventure base. Several of the Scouts in Troop 77 have gone to Philmont and I have great fun comparing notes with them. I also had the honor of being elected to the Order of the Arrow and I am currently a Brotherhood member. The highlight of my Scouting career came when I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 1967.
In 2006 I continued my involvement in Scouting as an adult serving as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 7 and Troop 77. In January 2008, I completed Wood Badge Training, the highest level of training available for adults. I currently serve the Twin Rivers District as the Boy Scout Roundtable Commissioner. I was selected by the West Central Florida Council to be the Scoutmaster for our 2010 National Jamboree contingent.
As Scoutmaster of Troop 77, my goal is to facilitate a fun, exciting, and rewarding Scout program. I want to spend time with the Scouts and provide a positive influence through a positive program. It will be truly rewarding for me to see each Scout grow during their journey to Eagle. Since I know from personal experience the challenge and the joy of becoming an Eagle Scout, I will support and help every boy who joins Troop 77 achieve the Eagle Scout Rank.
Come and see what we are all about.
